✯ First Impressions
❃ VISUAL: From his official description: "Taryon is a handsome human male with shoulder-length, feathered, dirty blonde hair. He has blue-green eyes and a well-groomed goatee adorning his dashing smirk. His svelte frame is clad in a set of polished barely-used breastplate armor, while he carries numerous satchels, jewelry, and other adornments."
Taryon wears well-kept clothing underneath his brilliant armor and helmet that shine with embedded jewels. At a later canon point, he wears an Earring of Whisper that consists of a single large gem.
He is followed by Doty, a large automaton that is often seen writing Taryon's narration in a thick book.
❃ DEMEANOR: Loud and refined. A mix of an upper-class twit and a nerdy shut-in. When projecting confidence, he carries himself like a smug, self-assured celebrity modeled after characters from his favorite novels. His movements are grand and theatrical.
Normally, his body language is smaller, and he keeps his limbs close to his body. Much of his gesturing is awkward, but he retains his flair for theatrics. When he's in a good mood, he buzzes with excitement; when he's uncertain, he hunches over.
Taryon has a tendency to charge into situations without thinking and be off-handedly rude (it's usually not intentional, but, again, he says things without thinking it through).
❃ AURAL: Exhibit A and B. It's more booming when he's trying to be cool.
❃ OLFACTORY: Like cologne and expensive lotions with a hint of workshop grease and smoke.
❃ MENTAL INFORMATION: An easy read, with his thoughts mostly focused on himself but also idealistic about how the world works.
❃ MAGICAL INFORMATION: While he can't cast magic directly apart from minor defensive spells, he can imbue objects with magical properties or build something that casts a spell for him.

❃ BACKTAGGING: Yes! I understand if people are slow because of real life. Even if something is months old, I love reviving old threads.
❃ FOURTHWALLING: Taryon would assume someone read his autobiographies, but in memes I'm open to fourth wall comments.
❃ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: If he knows your character, definitely.
❃ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: I welcome any combat or serious violence. Taryon is going to be terrified and try his best, and he wields a variety of tools that boost his defenses or cast support magic. He also has a rod that can transform into a sword, a spear, an axe, or a crossbow.
❃ RELATIONSHIPS: Taryon is gay and a romantic and is open to courting all sorts of men. Fellow nerds are absolutely his type.
❃ PLAYER PERMISSIONS: Please avoid unsanitary topics or fingernail gore.

❃ FOURTH WALL JOKES: While Taryon doesn't break the fourth wall directly, his jokes and comments can get metatextual. If you're not interested in Taryon lampshading a canon or thread, let me know.
❃ CHILD ABUSE: Emotional abuse and neglect from his father (featuring gaslighting), with implications of physical abuse. This is an unavoidable topic if he talks about his past or his family, but I can avoid anything too triggering.
